It's a Wonderful Life 1946

More like “It’s A Wonderful FILM”, amiright? Feels downright revolutionary (for 1946) in its depiction of how a continually kind man can be burdened by the fruits of his goodhearted labour, and how suicidal despair can strike anyone, even the ostensibly happy. Beyond that, it’s just a gorgeous movie, smoothly helmed, sincerely heartfelt and beautifully acted (Donna Reed <3), with only a few clumsily jarring edits as flaws. Lovely on any occasion, especially the big screen. 9.5/10
