"Chuck and Larry" is extremely unoriginal and predictable. Neither the pairing Sandler/James, nor the various guest appearances really have charm and wit. Yet, it's quite funny that despite its oh-so-politically correct message the creators never think it's necessary to show real love and feelings between homosexuals, instead they prefer to celebrate old-fashioned clichés and the breasts of Jessica Biel, and these are just some of many things that make this movie a despondent and therefore extremely joyless drawing board comedy.
