finally watched this after neglecting it for so long, couldn't devoid myself of this masterpiece forever.
the first time i ever got to know about the hell that hiroshima nagashaki faced was when i read this poem called "a doctor's journal entry for august 6, 1945" years back when i was a child and then i searched up everything related to the atomic bomb and the sufferings and i very vividly remember the anguish and that's the reason i resisted this movie because i thought watching the film will make me understand everything that led to the invention and i feared that might subside the pain i felt then and for some reason I didn't want that but as i was watching the film I realised how much i needed to know this story, kinda regret i didn't watch it in the imax.
anyways this was such a brilliant depiction of his life and what led to the invention, really pleased with how the film continuously kept questioning oppenheimer and the articulation of his conscious was flawless.
I'll fall short on words if I start praising nolan and cillian, they'll definitely grab those oscars in their respective categories, they most definitely should also the performances by rdj, blunt and literally each and every person part of this film was absolutely splendid.
