I still love this on a rewatch but now's the time for me to point out some of the issues.
It works well as a romance movie but my biggest problem is how quick these two fall in love. All it takes is one or two meetings for them to act like they've known each other for much longer.
The picture is very grainy and scratchy and sometimes looks underexposed. I don't know if this is a problem with the transfer or the original print but it's definitely noticable. The framing is also pretty tight. Definitely a step up from Clerks but Smith never seems to hit that professional mark. It's charming in a way but I just wanted to point it out.
