As @applepiecritic wrote, this was a consolation-prize movie outing given our desired movie was inexplicably removed from general run in theatres.
And this one is a sweet, full-on sentimental movie that also has some truthful and sharply-observed statements about what it means to be a parent. (There is much else besides in the movie, too, for everyone and not just parents.) As a parent you initially think you can live of your self’s interest, until you a reach a point and discover you have to dig deep into your self’s capital too. Witnessing Roz go through this with Brightbill.
Full confession: I had no idea it inkling that Pedro Pascal was the voice of Fix until the final credits. The guy is good!
