Fun fact: I originally wanted to see Megalopolis with my dad, but by the time he tried buying tickets, every theatre near us had dropped the movie. It took TWO WEEKS for megalopolis to get pulled in my city. Damn.
To make up for that, we went to see this movie. And well? It’s solid family entertainment with a violent amount of sappiness. The animation was great (especially the landscapes), the story is cliche but very enjoyable and the voice cast is stacked (also MATT BERRY LETS FUCKING GOOO). Just bring an empty maple syrup bottle with you, because by the end of the movie you’ll see sap coming out of the theatre walls
