This was brilliant. A true slow burn psychological thriller with a unique concept and a cast of fine performances. I have to admit, I became slightly confused by the films direction at times, but once that final act hit it all made a lot more sense. The twist ending caught me off guard so much that it took me some time to be able to fully process it. This is definitely a film that I can see improving upon a rewatch too, similarly to rewatching a film such as Memento or Fight Club with that different perspective. Regardless, given the amount that Kendrick Lamar has been referencing this film as of late, I’m happy to have finally given it a watch.
