The Wild Robot directed by Chris Sanders, left me utterly moved.
No joke, I choked up like three times during the film - it's incredibly heartwarming, emotional, and beautiful.
The stunning hand-painted animation and fantastic score perfectly complement the stellar voice acting from Lupita Nyong'o and the rest of the cast.
The story, about a robot who forms a family with a baby goose on a remote island, is both poignant and uplifting.
My only minor criticism is that the pacing feels a bit rushed at times, but given the film's already substantial 102-minute runtime, it's understandable that there might not have been room for more breathing space.
Overall, it's a must-see for anyone who loves animation and a good story.
