It seemed like we weren’t gonna get a theatrical release for this here in Sweden but it finally came out!!
And I can certainly say this was even better on a rewatch. The experience of watching this with a room full of people in the cinema really made it all better as well, you could hear a pin drop it was that quiet.
Even if some people’s expectations were too high because of the fantastic marketing, I still loved this a lot. It is basically nothing more than a police procedural but it manages to excel in this subgenre and be one of the best examples of it in a long time.
This film felt like it was made for me. Some fantastically crafted scenes of horror too, even if I’d seen it before I was STILL at the edge of my seat throughout so much of the film. One of the darkest and most bleak film in a long long while. There’s not a single ounce of happiness in here lmao
AND THERE’S SO MUCH LORE!!! If u do some extra research about the websites, hidden clues etc it leaves so much more to appreciate about the film.
