Have you ever had a film or any piece of art affect you in such a way that’s almost indescribable? That’s La La Land for me. I can’t even begin to describe my love for this piece of art. Everything about it is just perfect. You sometimes find yourself thinking of a film or song that just makes you happy, and you just can’t seem to let it go... That happens to me on a daily basis with La La Land.
A big part of that is the fantastic music! This is personally one of (it not), my favorite soundtrack of all time. I love every song featured in La La Land, but the one that has affected me the most is “Mia and Sebastian’s theme” which I believe is the most beautiful piece of music ever written. Bold statement, I know. The music and the film itself just means so much to me. Justin Hurwiz has become one of my favorite composers of all time!
Ughhh!!! Literally everything about La La Land is perfect! The beautiful cinematography, the acting from both Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, the set-design, the production-design, the dance sequences and of course, the fantastic music! Btw, the chemistry between Gosling and Stone is phenomenal as well! Some of the best and most believable chemistry i’ve ever seen to be honest.
GOD I LOVE THIS FILM SO MUCH!!!
My love for this film is immeasurable. Thank you, Damien Chazelle. I will continue to rewatch La La Land many more times, and I can’t wait for your next film.
