holy shit this delivered. 2 is definitely the weakest of the trilogy but overall all 3 are so incredible. had me rooting for damien in the first half. there’s something so special about beef with old friends. the training montage is so cool. and the round in the final fight where it goes empty in the arena that definitely rivals the fight from the first movie. love the sporino mention that is my meow! that double punch was crazy. jonathan majors is HUGE so is michael b jordan i am so obsessed with them!!!! it was hard to hate damien at first but that scene after the first fight… crazy. teared up at their apologies to each other. i really appreciate how this movie ended. like that is perfect. that is cinema. truly could not ask for a better third movie. also the sign language!!!!! love how it was used so much. can’t forget that tooth scene in the first fight. incredible. really liked the shots of their eyes and their names on their shorts. so fun.
love the family dynamics. love how bianca & adonis can balance work and their child. they both have passions they pursue but they are still able to be happy with a child! love their house. love how they encourage actually talking about your feelings especially since its a boxing movie. love that end scene with amara in the ring. 15-20 years until amara trilogy? lol but i think its so fun that she’s a creed and likes boxing. so so great.
