    finally! a film for the horny bpd girlies!
         - does evil come from within us or beyond?

    also very fitting that the *horrific* manifestation of ellen’s sexual desire is a tall man with a mustache!

    love that this version is ellen’s story!!

    other thoughts:
    - best opening scene ever?

    - significant that when ellen wants more than what her husband can give her, the whole town freaks out, a devil descends, ppl die, etc…but when harding does something MUCH…

    what the actual fuck did belmont film society take me to
    literally if “written by a man” was a movie
    genuinely one of the worst written films i have ever seen. yes, there were a lot of lol moments and lines, but absolutely no narrative structure 
    i did like the final final scene tho bc ani is FINALLY humanized
    and i did think igor was pookie
