Wow, I’m not normally speechless after watching a film, but I was for Past Lives.
I love this movie, it’s perfect, it’s so raw and emotional, so human and relatable. One of the best love stories I have seen as well as a story of immigration. Some of the best performances of the year from Greta Lee and Teo Yoo just elevate an already impactful story. A fantastic directorial debut by Celine Song.
This movie is all I can think about it right now, and. I think that will the case for a few days.
Perfection.

It was great to see Wolverine back, Hugh Jackman is still an absolute beast, his chemistry with Ryan Reynolds was incredible, they were both hilarious. The action sequences were incredible.
This had the best cameos ever as well, Henry Cavill was hilarious and I would be very open to him being Wolverine haha, and Chris Evans? NUTS! Blade, Electra, X23 and Gambit were also crazy.

HOLY SHIT!!
The sound was insane, the visuals, set pieces and action sequence were nuts, the hand to hand choreography was great!
One of the best sequels ever made, these movies are going to be 'classics' years down the line.

I was buzzing for this movie, and my expectations were beaten!
This was absolutely class, it was so tense, especially that last match.
The chemistry between the cast, the characters and their interesting relationships was great.
The tennis scenes were good also, some of the camera work was class, First person pov, ball pov, court pov etc was awesome to watch.
I think this is Zendaya's best performance to date, and I have never really been that impressed by her but I thought she was genuinely really good here.
100% recommend!!

Such a great film, effortlessly hilarious and real. The writing, cinematography, soundtrack and acting are phenomenal. Mikey Madison was unbelievable, definitely a candidate for Best Actress.

This was awesome!!!
Absolutely hilarious, well acted comedy that was entertaining and had a great soundtrack. A lot of good references as well.
Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt had good chemistry and were so funny! Winton Duke, Aaron Taylor Johnson and Stephanie Tsu were great. And The Fall Guy in the post credit scene? Awesome touch.
Fair play to the stunt double of the stunt double on the stunts in this film 🙏.
This just makes me want to work on of a film set 😂🙏
A line of appreciation for the Dodge Hellcat 🥵

Watched Fury Road for the first time the other day and then watched this soon after, what a great pairing. This gave a lot of extra context to Fury Road!
A fun, crazy, emotional and frankly quite brutal movie😂 The action sequences and car chases were of course incredible.
Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth were class!
I’m looking forward to what’s next in the Mad Max franchise - I’ll have to go back and watch the originals one day.

She loved it, not quite as good as the first but still really
enjoyable. She wishes that she could’ve heard more of the beautiful music throughout the film. I believe she was referring to the banger that is ‘Now We Are Free’

Hmmmmm.
It wasn’t as bad as i was expecting after reading the reviews. It has some great moments, and acting from Joaquin, the cinematography was good but I thought there was a bit too much unnecessary singing. It would change from courtroom drama to musical and I just think it didn’t work, it didn’t know what It wanted to be.
A huge, massive, humungous, extremely large step down from the first one but not a ‘bad’ movie.
