I felt a sudden burst of nostalgia coming over me today so I decided to revisit one of my childhood favorite Anime series in the form of this two-part movie adaptation of what was my favorite arc/season of the original series. But truth to be told, some things are better left to memory. This didn’t really grab me and most of movie felt rushed and repetitive. Maybe because they tried to cram a season’s worth of story into two 80 minutes movies. Anyway, I remember liking the original much more. Yes the animation is updated but for me the charm was kinda missing. Maybe the second part will grab me more. This was more of a sobering experience.
