The movie features six incredible stories set between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, though they aren't officially part of the Nolanverse.
The first story was my least favorite. It felt a bit too familiar, and the animation didn't quite do it for me. The second story stands out as one of the darkest animated adaptations of the Dark Knight. I was drawn to the third story because of its unique anime-style animation. The fourth one also had a dark tone and included notable villains like Killer Croc and Scarecrow, setting it apart from the others. The fifth story, "You work through pain," is my favorite. Initially, I mistook Cassandra for Lady Shiva, but she's not. And the last story is significant for featuring Deadshot as a main character, which was rare in animated content until 2008. A standout moment is when Bruce intercepts a Deadshot bullet between two passing trains.
All the stories had detailed animation. This movie really adds depth to understanding one of the greatest characters ever created.
