What else can I say about Robert Eggers’s Nosferatu besides that it fucks (literally and metaphorically). Eggers who in the best way suffers from being an obsessive history buff leads him to create some of the most diligent period recreations. His ability to immerse audiences through time such detailed production design and costuming is unparalleled by most of his contemporaries.
