I now get all the hype around La La Land. In my opinion, Whiplash is Damien Chazelle's masterpiece, but this film is obviously mesmerising. Every scene is perfectly directed. Damien is an amazing director and he proves it all the time! The camera work is also outstanding. The lighting of the characters is super and especially when only one character was being lighted make the film so beautiful. The usage of all those beautiful colors left me speechless. The script is well written and has a lovely pace. Finally, the soundtrack -both instrumental and vocal- is fantastic and I really admire so much the love of Damien about jazz.
All in all, i really loved every aspect of the film. Every concert scene make me feel so nostalgic about the old times that we could go to live concerts. I'm looking forward to the brighter days when we will go to concerts with thousand other peoples. I hope some day i'll get the opportunity to visit the city of Los Angeles. Yeah, it's not always that bright -the most of times it isn't i guess- but i will really love to get there one time. That's all for now. Thank you for reading my review!
P.S.: Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling gave incedible perfomances. I cannot add something more to catch their perfection
