Pixar brought us Toy Story over 23 years ago and for the most part, Big Studio animation hasn’t deviated too far.
Finally, Spider-Verse, while clever in its story and telling, stands out visually as a true piece of pop art cinema.
I may be wrong but it feels like a game-changer for the industry.
It’s a shame the bare-minimal acting, CGI-bloat and low-level humor of AquaThor in Gungunland will most likely dominate this holiday season.
