this was a thirst watch for wi hajun and ji changwook I might be a WHORE!
-
-
the worst of evil is euijeong
-
I watched this for the plot:
The plot is Ji Chang Wook smoking and said "SHIBALLLLL!!!!"
-
"there's someone i want to protect"
"to protect the two of you i let go of everyone who was with me"
ohhhh i'm never moving on.
wasnt expecting to get so incredibly attached to both junmo and gicheol but i was and the end nearly tore my heart apart. gicheol really did always listen to his heart more than his brain.
the cinematography was to die for. i wish they'd written euijeong a little better though.
-
I will never shut up about how good the cinematography, directing, and acting is.
-
the ending??!! what about MY emotions?
-
gicheol they could never make me hate you idgaf
that part when junmo decided to kiII him so gicheol dont commit suicide (a sin) to make euijung guilty and so his soul goes to heaven

The most complex masquerade of violence, where you can’t help but wonder if there is a glimmer of hope in all the deceit. Every moment the characters walk a thin line of moral ambiguity, prompting introspection into their boundaries of virtue and allegiance. Each character and the criminal underworld they live in seem to have been crafted so meticulously that looking a way for even a second you might miss a crucial piece. Every time someone lights a cigarette, every time Jun-mo tilts his head, every time Gi-cheul touches her necklace you are pulled deeper into the noir.
Ji Chang-wook deserves all the awards for this role. Bloody good.

fuck everyone, i loved bibi's character the most

My kind of Korean crime series.
The four main characters have incredible chemistry with each other.
The fight choreography is great and so is the narrative of a cop going undercover and befriending the boss of a crime family,
Add to that a woman that they both love, and you have a very intriguing series.
