"I took a vow"
"A wife doesn't have authority over her body, her husband does."
Chilling!!!
Lifetime does it again! I innapropriately giggled that one scene where he slapped her and she went flying across the room. I don't know how many signs are main sister wife needed to get out of there. She didn't even seem like she was ever happy in there. From the beatings, to her friend disappearing. To her phone showing up. She needed to literally see the body itself before she would believe her friend died. I was hoping she was secretly plotting some plan to leave. But she never made a move.
Her friends and mother were useless. I liked when the husband started talking to the baby. Overall, forgettable but probs on par with most lifetimes.

RIP caleb, you would have loved warren jeffs

Niecy Nash's daughter is a star.
-
half star was for matthew daddario and matthew daddario only
-
Micro budget and script short cuts aside, I was stressed out, disgusted and very engaged the whole time. Not a masterpiece, but very well made. The worst part is to realize that I would have fell for that guy... Ashley Williams is such a funny actress, I tend to forget that she can be serious, and even scary. She show range in this, she's great!

i too could survive psychological torture if my bestie was there with me

“nooo babe you don’t get it, it’s not that I want to sleep with other women, it’s that GOD wants me to”

"Dear God, my friends think I'm crap" gotta be one of the hardest lines in a lifetime movie
-
clearly i’ll watch anything with a hot man in it. also need to stop reading fantasy romance… worried about how swayed i was by his looks
-
The title says it all. You really get the bare minimum from these lifetime/Hallmark movies, they're just so camp in all the wrong ways lol
My fav part goes to the graphic designer who ate down with the logo:
Sis✝️er Wife Murder
