It's weird to look back on this franchise. In hindsight, the third film absolutely should have been the last. Even this short is rather pointless, as the way continental drift is shown later in the full film is completely different to how it is represented here.

I suppose this is a hot take, but I kind of think this 3 minute short is some of the best this series has to offer? I feel it's beautifully animated, visually interesting, has some creative sight gags... these are all things that the franchise as a whole usually struggles with... it's smartly directed, I would love to know what an entire Ice Age film looks like with some of the ol' Looney Tunes wit behind it. Maybe it's awesome, maybe it's hell, I have no clue. I just think this one is cute.
