Synopsis
Two kids and a living, talkative doll attempt to catch a mulatto boy-like, supernatural one legged figure known as the Saci-Pererê, that enjoys playing pranks to the farms.

A film that was most likely geared toward a child audience, this is perhaps interesting in that Nelson Pereira dos Santos was an assistant director and it highlights many of the studio type works he often mentions when explaining how he began his career. Also, this film also helps me understand how and why Macunaima became such a phenomenon, as there was obviously a kind of storytelling tradition that came before it.
