this is like if you turned pink pony club by chappell roan into a feature film
BEST STARDEW VALLEY MOVIE IVE EVER SEEN
Absolutely fucking beautiful. Gorgeously shot, wonderfully directed, brilliantly acted
If you’re looking for more queer focused stories from a unique perspective I highly HIGHLY suggest this. Shit made me wanna quit my job and move out of Florida to the countryside on god.
The soundtrack featuring Perfume Genius brought me to tears that’s one of my favorite artists and his music just elevated so many scenes.
Really touching and incredible coming of age for adults. Its never too late to discover yourself
Please give this a watch if you can!
Can't stop thinking about it actually. The warmth and love is so tangible and you feel it, too, so easily. Charlie Plummer is uuuuuuunreal.
"i don't think you're boring. you just haven't met your people yet."
National Anthem gives us queer rodeos, charlie plummer in drag, the vast american west, trans representation without an ounce of trauma, beautiful horses, and a story of found family. just one of the those movies that makes you think…god i love movies!!
i got to talk with the director Luke Gilford after the screening, and what an amazing and talented human being. GO SEE THIS MOVIE ASAP im literally going again this weekend
maybe if I fucked off to a gay ranch in New Mexico it would cure me of all my mental ailments
A beautifully touching love letter to queerness in the American West and the power of finding yourself through community. Also crucially understands the earth-shaking power of wearing blue eyeshadow for the first time.
When I watched this movie a couple months ago I fully expected it to be the most talked about surprise of the year. Sadly it hasn’t received its flowers yet and im hoping it grabs the attention it deserves.
I even made a video expressing how underrated it is along with a couple other movies I think should get talked about more.
It’s stunning film. Full of beauty and self love. Please give it a watch
i love it when trans people are allowed to
be happy instead of facing tragedy after tragedy and eventually being beaten to death 😁😁
