Synopsis
Mahesh, a studio photographer and owner of the studio. As the story moves on, Mahesh encounters an anonymous fight ending up with taking revenge that leads to certain realizations in his life.

Maheshinte Prathikaram is my favourite movie of all time in Malayalam. It's similar to Hot fuzz where the first half is full of setups and the other half is payoff. The characters are all introduced with the opening song "Idukki"which has lush green visuals and a personifying lyrics. The movie completely justifies the title as it's about Mahesh taking his revenge and coming to terms with his own shortcomings.
In one scene Crispin talks about the tragic fate of heroes who took vengeance by citing the examples of Mohanlal movies "Kireedam" and "Chenkol". Mahesh doesn't lose his life like that in the end as he merely wanted to vent out his built up spite and fulfill his promise to start…
