  Anatomy of a crappy system . Isabelle Huppert slay as usual and this film is clearly underrated. The true story of a fighter, a courageous woman threatened by all sides but resisting, inspired by her love of social justice, a sort of David against Goliath, where at first the premise promises a political thriller, but in the end it's deeper than that. One story hides another and it's above all a big kick in the ass to the social and justice systems who reduce the voice of women in cases of assault and even rape and it's interesting to see how a woman with power can threaten the fragile ego of men and a perfect illustration of the link between…

  Il n'excelle pas par sa cinématographie bien que certains plans sont intéressants, mais bien par son propos qui est important et doit être connu de tous car bien trop enfouis, caché pour être oublié. C'est une preuve de plus des failles de la justice française, de la misogynie du pays dans lequel on vit et de son avarice impossible à rassasier.

  Very effective drama that blends aspects of the political thriller and the whodunnit with a ripped-from-the-headlines, true-life story. Could have used a little tightening — the first half hour is a tad too loaded with business jargon — but for much of its running length this is taut and surprisingly suspenseful. As usual, Isabelle Huppert's performance makes the whole thing eminently watchable.

  avant première un jour de grève nationale : une coup de GÉNIE + le chien du réal aboie dès qu’il entend « police » (marketing définitivement incroyable)

  Malgré les apparences, on ne se retrouve pas devant un film sur le syndicalisme ou sur le nucléaire mais véritablement face à la dure vie d’une femme qui n’a pas eu la chance d’entendre « on te croit ». Les tripes se serrent quand on sait de source sûre que 90% du film est une copie conforme de l’infâme réalité qu’a subit Maureen Kearney.

  Union lady Maureen Kearney (Isabelle Huppert) goes up against the big guys and receives threats and more. This film was undoubtedly powerful and inspiring. Definitely check it out for the great performance.

  Like me peeing: there's so much fat it's hard to see it's point or where it's going.

  The investigative aspects of this corporate thriller work very well but unfortunately get buried beneath layers of politics and personal drama.

  Still, Isabelle Huppert has room to shine and uses all of it.

  Pretty solid Silkwood-lite story that pivots hard in the second half. Learning so much about the French court system this year!
  Isabelle was at this screening, she smiled at me and fielded one of the longest questions I've heard from an audience member. He quoted his own film at her...? Thank god her ass barely speaks English.
  The moderator asked her what attracts her to the directors she's worked with and she said "they are attracted to me. They want to work with me."
