Never in my life would I expect to cry to a slasher film. Aronhalt’s ability to shoot a genuinely nail biting slasher, while still conveying a pointedly personal and powerful message is like nothing I’ve seen before. You can tell his passion for film is that of a young Scorsese, and the only thing stronger than his want to create, is his want to bring change. The anti establishment messaging is clear in this film, from the obnoxious businessman’s (Isiah McKully) brutal death, to experimental way the film is shot. Every scene feels like a direct challenge to the system having subversive yet expertly executed lighting, shot angles, and pacing. I implore you to watch this film for yourself, as…
