if you wanna save your sanity, time and retinas from the snyder cut then I’d genuinely recommend this. DC animated features are consistently high quality and this literally has the exact same plot but in a third of the runtime

The interactions between Green Lantern and Batman are really the best part of this whole thing.
Justice League: War is pretty much non-stop action from start to finish. It is pretty straightforward but feels rushed at times so it could’ve done with an extra ten minutes probably. Like I said it’s simplistic so it feels a lot less messier than 2017’s Justice League.
It’s enjoyable enough I guess, especially if you are a fan of these characters. I’m not desperate to rewatch it.

Yes, I know comparing an animated film to arguably the greatest superhero film ever sounds like blasphemy, but I honestly think that if the live action JLA movie is anything like this in terms of characters, story, and action, then that has potentially to be the very best superhero movie ever. It's the Avengers (2012) recreated in the Animated DC universe. This one took a step away from the narrative that was being drawn by the linked Justice League animated films until now and stepped back in time to the formation of the Justice League in a kind of origin story with new voice actors.
