A decent whodunnit thriller that’s crisply executed with enough mystery to hook you through its 105 minutes runtime. Akshaye Khanna’s well written dubious characterization and his wit filled rock solid performance keep it engaging and holds the mystery uptight. Siddharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha were good. The movie does lack intensity beyond a point and the big finale reveal seems a bit far fetched, yet it does stay clever enough to end up an effective thriller.

Short review : This is as good as Bollywood (Indian Cinema) Movie can get with Murder/Mystery genre.
Sonakshi Sinha is terribly bad at acting.

my sis said “what a hot psychopath”

That's why you should've spent more time inspecting the crime scene rather than talking to the suspect.

Good detective procedural type of mystery, it’s a he said she said story with the psychological element of wondering who is lying. The music was a bit annoying to me at times kind of melodramatic, and like every other movie these days it’s a bit long . Other than that I liked the story and the end was pretty fun.

it’s not a sidharth malhotra movie unless there is at least one dialogue about how attractive he is

A decent-to-good thriller with some good moments/elements.
The plot was somewhat interesting, with a few hints/details throughout and a progressing story. I felt it got a bit "cocky", at times, about itself which worked a bit against itself.
Personally, I didn't really enjoy the leading character's (Dev/Akshaye Khanna) vibe and there's a few surprises along the way that add to the overall value of the movie.
I somewhat liked the ending, though I thought it was a bit (again) "cocky" lol
Overall, a movie that has some "fuel" in its tank and that is somewhat enjoyable and entertaining. Not really sure about 3 or 3,5 stars but I'm going with the half full side of things. It's a movie that you watch well while trying to figure it out, which is one of the main things about these movies.

Way ahead of its time for a 2017 release! Love how they bluff using the opening scene & keep you in the loop for the entire duration. Very unique filmmaking & an interesting concept. Intense score! Watched with my parents & the discussion in the interval of who could the culprit be with mom was amazing & none of us expected the twist in the climax!
Akshayee Khanna is finding his forte in such intense roles. Sid Malhotra was an amazing bluff master protagonist. Sonakshi Sinha was phenomenal & needs more such scripts!
