my girl anna was literally doing nothing wrong! killing child predators and harming men who broke into her house? she’s an icon and she is the blueprint. quite literally a “good for her” movie.
i picked this up on dvd a while ago and i remember being pleasantly surprised by how much i enjoyed it and how little i had heard about it prior. the plot twist comes early but it is completely unexpected (although you can pick up on some hints upon multiple viewings). the cast are more than capable in their roles although beth riesgraf and rory culkin certainly outshine the others. the dialogue may be lacking at times, but i always enjoy a film that generally surprises me. i have had fun showing this to others and seeing their reactions.
