they need to let hunter schafer into that writers room PERMANENTLY

Jules Vaughn is the perfect example of what it's like to feel like a trans girl. There's no other media that has a character being this honest about their transness. Jules is a trans girl that doesn't wanna fit into the cis gendered norms of what it is to be a woman, she's willing to be herself instead. What Hunter Schafer has been allowed to contribute with to the character of Jules is the best thing that has ever happened to trans media. I'm so thankful to have this character in my life.

-
the lorde needle drop triggered my fight or flight response

one time someone said jules is the villain in euphoria and then sam levinson took them outside and then i heard gunshots but idk he said it was unrelated
-
I have to say that these two special episodes are the best episodes of the show

Everyone who knows me knows that working on Euphoria has been one of the most instrumental parts of my life. It has influenced not only who I am as a creative, but also as a person.
Returning to this family after so many months apart was probably the most emotionally fulfilling part of 2020 for me. When the whole cast and crew reunited last February for a camera test ahead of season 2, we couldn't have dreamed that our plan of spending the entire year together would turn into an indefinite amount of time apart. When we finally came back for Rue's episode in September, it was like the warmest hug I could have ever received (even though we had…

absolutely remarkable in the most visceral of ways; euphoria: fuck anyone who’s not a sea blob is a cathartic, compelling and emotionally rigorous insight into jules’ life of mind. hunter schafer’s voice echoes distinctly through this special episode in carving a most delicate and complex portrait of the incredible character that is jules vaughn.
i can only hope that future episodes of euphoria will be treated with the same level of care as these two special episodes have been subject to, as this is without a doubt the most nuanced, nurturing and indulgent portrayal of jules that we have seen so far, and schafer without a doubt flourishes within what she has brought of herself to her character. the perspective…
