  A phenomenal, underrated action movie. Time loops are my jam (I'm the biggest Majora's Mask fan on the planet, after all) so this movie's fun premise, coupled with great performances and solid direction makes for such an incredible moviegoing experience. More people need to see this.

  "FIND ME WHEN YOU WAKE UP."

  God, this movie is so good. Still one of the finest alien designs I've ever seen on screen. And fuck, what a great screenplay! Feels like every couple of minutes the movie escalates in a way that makes something new exciting, and the point at which it escalates to a level where Blunt and Cruise are so good at fighting that they're going full anime is just absolutely unreal. The sequence that follows where we watch Cruise passively accept the casualties of soldiers around him as Paxton repeats "hope in the form of glorious combat" feels like a big middle finger to army recruitment and I kind of love it, even though there's absolutely…

  Went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised by how clever and entertaining it turned out to be!

  One part Groundhog Day, one part Starship Troopers! Tom Cruise is getting a little long in the tooth but he proved he's still got it!

  Only gripe was the anticlimactic ending!

  Bill Cage met Rita Vrataski for a hundred or even thousand of times. Dude probably knew her better than anyone. But for Rita, every encounter with him is a first. This is why I love when she said this one:
