  tbh the best part of this whole film is when Harrison Ford finds out tht the aliens want the cowboys' gold and he says: "that's just ridiculous. What're they gonna do... BUY SOMETHING???"

  "Cowboys & Aliens" is a 2011 film directed by Jon Favreau. Using action at its forefront, it blends the elements of the typical western with that of science fiction for a uniquely intended experience. The narrative follows Daniel Criag's character of Jake Lonergan, seemingly a notorious wanted outlaw except Lonergan himself has major difficulty remembering his past. This is due to the fact that he was once abducted and was one of the very few who somehow escaped the grouping of aliens' grasps. With alien attacks being more frequent that realized out in the desolate New Mexico Territory, a new wave of abductions comes for the town of Absolution. This sparks the notice of local cattle baron Woodrow Dolarhyde (Harrison Ford)…

  This film was directed by Jon Favreau and stars Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde and Sam Rockwell

  So when you go into a film called Cowboys & Aliens you can’t really go in expecting the greatest masterpiece of all time, that being said I really enjoyed the movie, it had many fun cheesy qualities about it which is refreshing sometimes after watching so many beloved classic Oscar winning movies. The film has an incredible cast, you’ve got Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, Paul Dano and even Walton Goggins shows up for a bit. Paul Dano was absolutely hilarious in this movie, he doesn’t have the most screen time I would have liked him…

  I actually like the first 1/3 of the movie. It starts off as a solid western and the first attack from the aliens at night is done well. Unfortunately, as soon as they leave the town the next morning everything goes downhill and fast in my opinion

  Wish Hollywood would give something like this another try at some point because I love the concept
