Where shopping costs you an arm and a leg!

A group of teenagers that work at the mall all get together for a late night party in one of the stores. When the mall goes on lock down before they can get out, the robot security system activates after a malfunction and goes on a killing spree. One by one the three bots try to rid the mall of the “intruders.” The only weapons the kids can use are the supplies in other stores, or if they can make it till morning when the mall opens back up.

Instead of binging on “aerobics will kill you” movies, I decided to revisit another completely insane 80’s horror flick that’s pretty much Short Circuit on crack.
Killer robots in the mall. Barbara Crampton. Florsheim Galleria. Scott from Friday the 13th part 2. Radio Shack. Cigarette machines. Animated laser beams. Thom McAn Shoes. Escalators. Juice kiosks. Guess Baby. Elevators with 180 degree views. Paul and Mary Bland. House of Almonds. Exploding heads. Upturned polo collars. Hallmark stores. Crimped hair. Crawling through air vents. Full scale department stores. Jim Wynorski.
The 80’s were some wonderful times. Have a nice day, indeed.

Killer robots terrorizing a group of horny yuppies in the Mall of Death. Snatch N' Grab. Short mullets are underrated. Dr. Tall Man? Mr. and Mrs. Bland without Raoul. I'm pretty sure Paul Verhoeven watched this before directing RoboCop. Sexy Lacoste shirts. Slumber Party Massacre poster. Centerfold tits. Neck choke. Preppy Alan Pinkard. When a girl can fix a car her hotness level is quadrupled. The way Mike chews gum. Really awful 80's big hair. I think the killer robots are a cross between the Gobots and Johnny 5. Nerd love. A bunch of teenagers decide to throw an after hours party at the mall where they work and are soon fighting for their lives thanks to the malls security robots who stupidly get struck by lightning!

A crazy 80's Futuristic Tech on the cheap vs Horny Teenagers in a fight to the death with an even crazier cameo from Paul and Mary Bland from Eating Raoul (why the hell not - more movies should have had odd crossovers) it also may have the second best movie title of all time ... maybe?
