The Belle guitar solo was a crazy thing to throw in with less than 200 seconds on the clock
cowards for not doing this live and falling back on the cartoon for more than half of the performance 😤 I wanted to see that beautiful beast costume DANCE

The performances and choreography were amazing, but I hope this inches us closer to a proshot of Broadway’s Beauty and the Beast.
This was absolutely bonkers and confusing, and I'm honestly kind of speechless. Here's a list of strange things that stood out to me:
-The majority of this special was just the animated movie. I understand this is a 30th anniversary tribute, and they wanted to highlight the beautiful animation, but they just used way too much of the movie. It made the live action segments feel tacked on or out of nowhere at times.
-That Beast costume. It looked hilarious. For some reason, it looked more like a goofy demon than a beast, and I kept being reminded of the Faun from Pan's Labyrinth. It was very stiff and awkward, and only showed up like three or four times. The…
