  This was a very good continuation to what was a decent adaptation of the great comic of the same name. It doesn't take long to realize that there are higher stakes here and that the rogues gallery is less memorable than in the first, but they're still really cool. As in the previous part, the voice acting is very good, and I even felt that the animation finally matched my taste this time, at least it seemed seamless.

  Again, if I must mention any negatives, I believe that the story could have been more exciting. In fact, the reveal, and even the ending itself, was rather abrupt and unsatisfying.

  What felt a bit lacking in Part One within the pacing of its story (although still enjoyable) worked a bit better in this finale. Although it still moves a bit slow, there is a lot of ground covered in this film, so it feels as if every scene features something riveting.   More of the same. Immense story with wicked voice acting and nice animation. I'm so curious what I would think of these movies had I not been familiar with the incredible source material. I think there's a part of me that thinks these films don't fully reach the potential of the graphic novel. Nevertheless, The Long Halloween is still a good double feature and I'm satisfied with the adaptation.

  Honestly they should’ve just committed to the 3 hour runtime and made it all one giant movie. Probably would’ve bumped it up half a star.

  Overall though still two great movies. DC animation truly doesn’t get the level of appreciation and praise that it deserves.

  i'm always so impressed by how quickly batman villains, after breaking out of arkham, immediately go back to doing crime. like they break out and 30 minutes later they're out and about in full costume, full gear, robbing a bank. these guys love crime! they do it for the love of the game!
