let the dianna agron renaissance commence
-
dianna agron is so beautiful i want to walk into incoming traffic
-
Bittersweet; gentle; lo-fi; scenic; short; simple; understated; well-acted; well-shot.
-
ACIDMAN is an efficiently affective father-daughter drama with two very good performances from Dianna Agron & Thomas Haden Church. Modest, reflective & beautifully shot. Humbly achieves its goal despite never going deeper into any of its commentary on absent parental figures.

Loved this movie and got me thinking about some things. Beautiful scenery and great performances by Dianna and Thomas. Check it out!
-
not to miss the entire point of the movie but dianna’s outfits were pretty gay.. i know what u are..
-
this was such a pleasant surprise – it resonated with me like not many movies have lately.
it’s interesting what speaks to people and what doesn’t, especially movies that are essentially about close familial relationships and core childhood memories. i would recommend this to anyone who has ever felt disappointed they see their parents' bad traits in themselves. or to anyone who struggles with finding a common language with their parents as they grow up.
this was another understated indie movie that just came and went without any hype whatsoever, and i think it deserves to be seen by more people.

dianna is gonna serve every time and i’m gonna eat up her lesbian esque daddy issue roles where she looks sexy in a sweater!
-
A handsomely crafted and quietly affecting two-hander that dives deep into Generational Trauma™. Mileage varies with the UFO/conspiracy storyline. cw: sad dog stuff :(
-
dianna agron was sitting directly in front of me during this screening so she got my exclusive letterboxd review in real time

Thomas Haden Church is one of cinema’s most underrated actors. His gruff, baritone voice and rugged mien shot him to stardom in “Tombstone” and catapulted him to critical acclaim in “Sideways.” In between turns in the Tobey Maguire-led “Spider-Man” franchise, he has settled in as a dependable character actor. And yet, these workmanlike performances only make one long for the day when the veteran character actor can land meatier lead roles. Well, look no further than Alex Lehmann’s subdued, contemplative follow-up to “Paddleton,” a two-hander making its world premiere at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival — “Acidman.”
In the film, Dianna Agron stars as Maggie, the beleaguered daughter of Church’s character. Maggie lost touch with her father years ago following…

dianna was so excellent, she really thrives in roles like this (milf with daddy issues)
