A Ticket for Thaddeus is a story about Thaddeus Kubaczik (Edmond O'Brien), a Polish emigré and carpenter that has taken up residence in the United States with his wife Kathi - but who still harbours intense PTSD after his experiences at the hands of the Nazis in a concentration camp, and is afraid of police in uniform and people knocking on his door at night.
