This film surpassed my expectations. I initially thought it was going to be okay but nothing extravagant. But I actually got something good out of it! Ben Schwartz as Sonic was amazing, Jim Carrey as Robotnik was better and the plot was actually not bad for a kids movie. This film is a complete fucking failure in every way. It fails to be a good movie, it fails to fit into the DCAU's timeline but more importantly, it fails to live up to the legacy of BATMAN: The Animated Series.
