Second time seeing this, took my little sister to see it this time. She enjoyed it as much as I did even though she was a wee bit confused at the end.
These movies just mean a lot to us, it’s not the gore, I’ve said before here it’s the philosophy. But John and his followers are human and flawed and don’t follow their own rules.
It’s not meant to be about vengeance but it clearly is, John goes after a man who is responsible for his nephews death, he’s went after a man responsible for the loss of his unborn child, a man responsible for the wrong diagnosis of his cancer.
This is vengeance. Is it justice?
Giving them the means to escape and live, yeah I guess it is.
Okay I’m getting ramble-y waiting for my next movie of the day to start, boy adverts are ridiculous at the cinema now, it’s like a half hour about starving children and greyhounds being lost. Really get you into the mood to watch a movie.
