I was hesitant when they first announced Gladiator ll, i didn’t think there was much need for a sequel but I throughly enjoyed this. The action was fun and over the top but to me, Ridley Scott seems like he just took the safe route with this one. Story is very similar to the first and the movie doesn’t try to do too much with its directing or its dialogue but hey the movie is fun and a good time and I enjoyed most of the performances.
