i really wanted to like dune, but honestly, it just didn’t work for me. the story felt all over the place, and instead of being drawn in, i was just confused most of the time. it’s such a dense plot, but the film doesn’t do a great job of explaining things, so i kept feeling lost.

i don’t usually enjoy films i have to watch with subtitles because my attention span is awful, but harakiri had me completely hooked from start to finish. the story is so gripping, and the way it slowly builds up tension kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time.
