Before I get any further in this review, I just really want to say something:
Thank you all for 300 followers. I can’t stress how much this account means, and it’s insane this account has blown up so much in the last year. You guys are the best, and it’s so surreal because I never expected to have this many followers. You guys are really the best.
Anyways, thoughts on this movie. I’ll have a more general review at a later time (probably when part 1 comes out) but I want to talk about one scene, which is the leap of faith. Miles has been a person whose controlled by expectations. The whole movie is about his desire to gain freedom. Through his lowest moments, he finally comes to a realization. That of what it means to be a hero. Through the confusion of it all, being by people who understand themselves better, he realizes what he needs to do, let go. Throughout the whole scene, him accepting what he needed, was beautiful. THIS MOVIE IS SO GOOD AND SO IS THIS SCENE. Anyways, peak comic book movie, peak animated movie, peak in general.
