As i mentioned when the Eternal movies were released, the main issue is condensing an entire arc in two movies, because everything happens too fast and Stars being the best arc of the manga had potential to be explored in at least a 10-episode season in order to give this SM reboot a proper closure. But hey, this was finally adapted as it should have been since the beginning and works as a good setup for the actual ending.
