What started as a normal day quickly descends into chaos as men and children begin to kill for a mysterious purpose.
At a little less than six minutes in length It Began Without Warning proceeds to use every second of it on bloody insanity that gets more intense and brutal by the second. I'm not sure if I've ever seen a short film quite like that, especially one that is shot so well. By the end I was left wanting more and elated to see that this was subtitled "Phase 1: They Arrive." That smile was quickly wiped away when I discovered there is no phase two and when considering this film is almost eight years old I doubt there ever will be. That is a shame because I would love to see this story explained. With that being said, I still think this is worth a watch for the horror hounds out there. Good stuff!
I haven't had much time for feature length films these past two weeks but it's Friday so I'm hoping for some time to do so over the weekend.
If you'd like to check out It Began Without Warning for yourself, here is a link to the film on YouTube. Enjoy!
