It was my first time in the theater, and I forgot that on my previous viewing at home I paused a couple times (toilet break, water).     Pacing could be peppier, and I bet it's a slog if you're not on its wavelength, but I fucking loved Maddin (and co) doing Buñuel. I wonder if it plays differently after the UHC CEO assassination, but it spoke clearly and insistently to me immediately: funny, yes, but furious and lacerating and dead-on in its critique, and relentlessly enjoyable to watch. Plus: bog men!
