not as good as The Last Boy Scout
Honestly a little disappointed in this! Liman and Jakey G take a swing, end up oscillating between striking out and clean hits with the action choreography, but ultimately feels too unbalanced. I admire the attempts at trying something different in a Hollywood production at least. If anything, this movie is further proof you can basically take the premise of any classic story and just do your own thing with it. Now, should it have even been a remake of Road House? Idk but we live in a world where it is. I can't help but feel like it's just on the verge of being something really fun. As it stands, I enjoyed myself a three star picture.
