What started as a really cool “what if?” scenario devolved into a finale that belongs in Power Rangers, not Batman.
I get that the movie wasn’t going for realism or anything, but there is no way you could create complex (and enormous) robots using technology in feudal japan.
Also, the way they forced everyone in the bat-family into this (especially Alfred) was paaaainful.
I know I’m thinking too much into this, but it was annoying, and I feel like there was a much better story to tell here.
Still, the animation was excellent and this version of The Joker was cool. I’d definitely reccomend it.
