omg i completely forgot to log this. to start with i loveddd the set design, the film was visually stunning and had fantastic sound effects. even though it leans on nostalgia and uses a lot of the same tropes as the first two movies in the series i believe it manages to stand out as its own film. despite its flaws im willing to overlook them because in the end it was still very enjoyable

this movie never gets old and is still stronger than most movies nowadays. i’ll always appreciate how authentic the dialogue is it feels so real and the group dynamics are just right. ripley remains a standout as one of the all time great heroines we also love you jonesy

you know shit is about to get fucking weird when you see mia goth in a movie. she has this incredible ability to be appear completely detached from reality, disregarding sanity and reason yet at the same time she maintains this mysterious control over her actions, her delivery is just elusive.
