    As a huge LOTR fan, I enjoyed the film, but it’s nowhere near the greatness of the original trilogy. It has its moments, the world-building is still magical, and revisiting Middle-earth is always a treat. But the stakes aren't as gripping, and the story is stretched more than it needs to be. The magic is there, just not at the same level as before.
