This docuseries brought me back to my childhood. The show was absolutely massive. Springer was the anti-Oprah. He was the circus ringmaster reveling in the muck. As much fun as it was to look back at the wild, wild West of television it’s for the best that we’ll never get back to those times. Society cares too much about therapy and mental health for trash TV to ever make a comeback.
